On December 5, 2024, a lecture entitled "Keramarkh": Basic approaches to exhibition and collection activities” was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art. It was given by Honoured Cultural Worker of Russia, curator of the "Keramarkh" Museum of Architectural and Artistic Ceramics M.L. Makogonova.
On December 5, 2024, a lecture entitled "Keramarkh": Basic approaches to exhibition and collection activities” was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art. It was given by Honoured Cultural Worker of Russia, curator of the "Keramarkh" Museum of Architectural and Artistic Ceramics M.L. Makogonova.
The lecturer spoke about the history of the "Keramarkh" Museum, its scientific activities, exhibitions and projects held in the museum. M.L. Makogonova touched upon the topic of ceramic elements presented in the expositions of the "Keramarkh" Museum, including samples received from regions of Russia and other countries.
The special attention was paid to ceramic decorations and figures decorating buildings in St. Petersburg, as well as general architectural features of the city in the lecture. Speaking about the architectural styles of the city, Makogonova told about the history of the emergence of the Russian style in urban planning and its influence on the construction of churches, about the use of artistic ceramics in decorating the facades of buildings.
During the lecture, a presentation was given on the exposition activities of the "Keramarkh" Museum.
