On the occasion of May 18 — International Museum Day — a special educational program will be organized at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art.

As part of the program, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the museum’s rich exhibition and receive detailed information about exhibits representing various periods of Azerbaijani and world art.

From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, a variety of paid creative activities for children will be organized. Young participants will enjoy both entertaining and creative experiences through drawing, carpet weaving, eco-bag making, and face art activities.

At 4:00 PM, a lecture entitled “Azerbaijan National Museum of Art – 90” will be held.

The lecture will be delivered by the museum’s Scientific Secretary, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Studies Nurana Salimli. During the lecture, visitors will learn in detail about the history of the museum’s establishment, its path of development, its rich collection, activities aimed at preserving national cultural heritage, as well as its important role in promoting Azerbaijani fine arts.
