On April 24, an event dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the renowned poet and composer Khanim Ismayilgizi was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art. The event was jointly organized by the Baku City Main Department of Culture, the Yasamal District Centralized Library System, and the museum.

During the event, the director of the Yasamal District Centralized Library System, PhD in History and Honored Cultural Worker Latifa Mammadova, delivered a speech highlighting the celebrant’s rich creative career.

As part of the event, Khanim Ismayilgizi was awarded an Honorary Reader diploma from the M.Sh. Vazeh Central Library of the Yasamal District, as well as an Honorary Certificate from the Baku City Main Department of Culture. On behalf of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, she was congratulated and presented with an honorary certificate from the museum.

During the jubilee evening, works with lyrics and music composed by Khanim Ismayilgizi were performed. Students of various music schools and creative groups also took part, congratulating the celebrant.

As part of the evening, the “60 Flowers – One Wreath” Victory almanac, prepared by the M.Sh. Vazeh Central Library in cooperation with the Public Association “Society of Azerbaijani Women Writers,” was presented.

At the end of the event, Khanim Ismayilgizi expressed her gratitude for the attention to her creativity and presented her books to the readers.
