On February 12, a creative evening dedicated to the People's Writer of Azerbaijan, Elmira Akhundova, was held through the joint organization of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art and the Yasamal District Centralized Library System.

The event, moderated by Latifa Mammadova, PhD in History, offered a look into Elmira Akhundova’s multifaceted literary and journalistic activities. Her books dedicated to Azerbaijan's statehood heritage and the life and career of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev became a subject of extensive discussion.

Speaking at the event, People's Writer Natig Rasulzadeh emphasized that writing about the National Leader Heydar Aliyev is both a great responsibility and a profound privilege.

As part of the program, a video highlighting Elmira Akhundova’s literary journey and a virtual photo album based on her personal archives were showcased.

Excerpts from the writer's works were read aloud, memories were shared, and various stages of her creative career were discussed. The author engaged in discussions with readers and answered their questions. The evening continued with an artistic segment and classical music performances.

At the end of the event, People's Writer Elmira Akhundova held a book signing session for the attendees.
