On May 19–20, 2025, the 3rd International Congress of Kazakhstani Museums was held in Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Samir Talibov, a restorer-artist from the Scientific Restoration Department of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, represented the museum at the international event with a presentation titled “Conservation and Restoration Processes at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art.”

On May 19–20, 2025, the 3rd International Congress of Kazakhstani Museums was held in Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The congress took place at the National Museum of Kazakhstan and was organized within the framework of the Forum of Cultural Workers with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan and the International Organization of Turkic Culture — TÜRKSOY.

The event brought together restorers, museum professionals, and leading experts and researchers in the fields of science and culture from Azerbaijan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Russia, Türkiye, and Turkmenistan. The main topic of the congress was the current issues in the preservation and restoration of museum exhibits.

Samir Talibov, a restorer-artist from the Scientific Restoration Department of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, represented the museum at the international event with a presentation titled “Conservation and Restoration Processes at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art.” He also conducted a master class within the framework of the congress on the topic “Technology of Painting Works: Contemporary Challenges.”
