At the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, as part of the "Music in the Museum" project, which takes place every Wednesday for music lovers, the next concert was dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani composer, the founder of the first opera in the East, and the renowned musicologist-scientist Uzeyir Hajibeyli, which is celebrating in 2025. The concert program, presented by the International Mugham Center, under the artistic direction of Honored Teacher Tarana Yusifova, the Choir Collective named after Jahangir Jahangirov and solo performers presented the opera "Leyli and Majnun.", featured the opera "Leyli and Majnun," fragments from the musical comedy "Arshin Mal Alan," and other immortal works by the great composer. The program also included a pantomime performance with students from the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, bringing to life the characters from the opera "Leyli and Majnun." The concert, which included works by Uzeyir Hajibeyli that are part of the golden treasury of Azerbaijani and world music culture, was accompanied by continuous applause from the audience.
