On May 17, the documentary film “The Creators,” dedicated to the life and work of prominent representatives of the Azerbaijani school of architecture — Mikayil Huseynov and Sadig Dadashov — was screened at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art as part of the “Cinema at the Museum” project.

During the screening, detailed information was presented about the rich creative legacy of the architects who played a significant role in shaping 20th-century Azerbaijani architecture, the monumental buildings that contributed to the architectural image of the city of Baku, and the synthesis of national architectural traditions with modern approaches.

Through the architects’ projects, archival materials, and rare photographs, the film highlighted the architectural and aesthetic thinking of the era and emphasized their special place in the cultural history of Azerbaijan.

Participants of the event had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the lives and artistic worlds of the creative personalities who contributed to the formation of Azerbaijan’s architectural heritage.
