At the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, an educational program for children was held on the occasion of March 31 — the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
As part of the program, students of School No. 189–190 took part in a thematic guided tour and attended a lecture titled “March 31 Genocide: History and Memory.”
During the lecture, the children became closely acquainted with the museum’s permanent exhibition “Azerbaijani Painting and Graphics of the 1920s–1980s,” which reflects the traces of those tragic events and the collective memory of the people.
As part of the master class, the young participants engaged in a creative activity on the theme “The Mourning Flower — Carnation,” expressing their feelings and thoughts through colors.
This experience contributed both to enriching their historical knowledge and to strengthening their connection to national and spiritual values.
At the end of the program, the students explored the Azerbaijani painting section of the museum and visited an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Davud Kazimov.
