World Art
The museum boasts a collection of over 8,000 world art exhibits. This includes both fine and decorative-applied works from Western Europe, Russia, and Eastern countries. The Western European collection features rare examples of art from countries such as Italy, Flanders, Holland, Germany, and France, spanning the XVI to XX centuries. Additionally, there are Oriental miniatures renowned for their exquisite design and beauty, along with fine art embroidery, clothing, carpets, ceramics, metalwork, and wood carvings from ancient cultures like Turkey and Iran. The collection also showcases works that reflect the unique artistic traditions of China, Japan, and India. Furthermore, the rich collection of Russian art encompasses its development from the 17th to the 20th centuries, with selected examples of avant-garde art that are recognized as a significant phenomenon in 20th-century Russian art, forming a distinct part of this collection.
