A lecture dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the January 20th tragedy was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art. In the lecture entitled "Reflection of January 20th theme in Fine Art Works" presented by the head of the Exhibition and Design Department of ANMA, art critic Asad Guliyev spoke about the reflection of this event, which is a symbol of the people's struggle for freedom and unshakable determination, in the fields of painting, graphics and sculpture. The works of Mikayil Abdullayev, Boyukaga Mirzazade, Kamil Najafzadeh, Jahangir Rustamov, Shamo Abasov, Farman Gulamov, Elmira Shahtakhtinskaya, Nazim Mammadov, Khanlar Ahmadov, Sahib Guliyev and other well-known representatives of visual arts stored in the museum's collection were discussed. The irreplaceable role of this glorious chronicle of the history of modern Azerbaijan, which paved the way for independence, and the mentioned art examples in the transfer of our blood memory to the future generations was emphasized.
