On January 30, 2025, at 16:00, the next lecture entitled "Life and creativity of Azim Azimzadeh" dedicated to the 145th anniversary of Azim Azimzadeh, a prominent representative of the graphic art of Azerbaijan, will be held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art within the framework of the "Lecture in the Museum" project.

By participating in the lecture, you will get full information about the life and creativity of Azim Azimzadeh, a graphic artist, the founder of Azerbaijani caricature art. The role of the folk artist in the development of our fine art, rich creativity will be analyzed in a comparative way. Azim Azimzade's artistic heritage - book illustrations, drawings in magazines and newspapers, clothing and decoration sketches, as well as satirical caricatures - will be mentioned. The lecture will be presented by Gulnaz Mustafayeva, senior researcher of the scientific research department.
