On October 16, the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art hosted a lecture titled “Echo of History: People’s Artist Khanlar Ahmadov” within the framework of the “Lectorium in the Museum” project.

The lecture was presented by Gunel Zaur, art historian and staff member of the Museum’s Department of Culture and Education. She provided detailed information about the life and creative activity of the People’s Artist Khanlar Ahmadov, focusing in particular on his works in the fields of monumental and easel sculpture.

The audience learned interesting facts about the sculptor’s works preserved in the museum’s collection.

Later, Khanlar Ahmadov himself addressed the participants, speaking about the unique nature of sculptural art and his deep passion for this field. The sculptor also expressed sincere gratitude to the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art for its attention to and support of the arts.

The engaging lecture concluded with a discussion and questions from the audience.

After the event, Khanlar Ahmadov viewed the museum’s new exhibitions and permanent display.
