On May 13, the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art hosted a lecture titled “The Art of Honored Art Worker Elmas Huseynov”, dedicated to the 88th anniversary of the birth of renowned graphic artist Elmas Huseynov.

The lecture was presented by art historian Gunel Zaur, a staff member of the museum's Department of Culture and Education. She spoke about the artistic concepts reflected in Huseynov's works, his contributions to the field of art, and his significant role in Azerbaijani graphic art. The talk also covered his achievements in monumental wall painting and his mosaics, created through a synthesis of tradition and modernity.

People’s Artist Arif Huseynov, who also spoke at the event, shared memories of his fellow artist and highlighted the unique qualities of Elmas Huseynov’s graphic works, particularly the illustrations he created for numerous books.

The lecture, which was also attended by the artist's family members, attracted great interest from the audience.
