On January 31, the opening ceremony of the personal  exhibition of Sirus Mirzazadeh, one of the famous representatives of modern fine art, People's Artist, "On the Wings of Dreams" was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art. Director of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, Ph.D. in Art Studies, Shirin Malikova, who greeted the guests at the event attended by numerous cultural and public figures and art lovers, spoke about the uniqueness of Sirus Mirzazade's creativity and said that his works in the fields of monumental and easel painting, as well as graphics, are valuable contributions to our fine art. Later, People's Artist Salhab Mammadov, Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts of Azerbaijan, People's Artist Natig Aliyev, People's Artist Arif Huseynov, People's Writer Natig Rasulzade made a speech and looked at various aspects of the artist's life and creativity and emphasized the importance of this exhibition, which reflects the rich art world of Sirus Mirzazadeh.

The exhibition, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, showcases about 100 painting and graphic works of the artist, as well as photographs of monumental painting examples. In the exhibition, most of them have elegant, charming female portraits, as if in the world of dreams, reflected in the background of different interiors and landscapes, lovely shanapipic images, plot scenes in which the characters and emotions of the characters from the "Adam and Eve", "Artist and Model" series are skillfully given, and other paintings created by the rich imagination and high artistic taste of the artist are included. In "Red Morning", "In Dreams", "Sweet Dreams", "Meeting with shanapipik", "In the Light of the Lamp" and dozens of paintings and graphics dominated by the lyrical mood, the author's interpretation of the unique Eastern atmosphere, mythology, a miniature style, originating from the artist's genetic memory, as well as manifestations of our valuable cultural heritage such as carpets and mughams can be seen.

Sirus Mirzazadeh's monumental painting field, which is the leading direction of artistic activity, frescoes, mosaics and stained-glass windows decorated buildings located in Baku and other cities and regions form a part of the exhibition and form a full picture of the multifaceted creativity of the artist. 


It should be noted that the exhibition will continue until March 1, 2025.
