On November 6, the opening of the exhibition titled “Colors of Victory” was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art. Organized jointly by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, and the Museum, the exhibition is dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War.

On November 6, the opening of the exhibition titled “Colors of Victory” was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art. Organized jointly by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, and the Museum, the exhibition is dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War.

The event began with a one-minute moment of silence in memory of our martyrs. Director of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, Shirin Malikova, and First Deputy Chairman of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, People’s Artist Salhab Mammadov, delivered speeches, emphasizing that the exhibition reflects the love for the Motherland, pride, and unity of the artists who created the artistic chronicle of our Victory. During the event, the Museum’s staff members who are veterans of the First and Second Karabakh Wars were invited to the stage, and through them, all heroes who contributed to the historic Victory were gratefully applauded.

The exhibition presents works by renowned and young artists dedicated to the heroes of the Patriotic War, the Great Return, and the enchanting nature of Karabakh.

The exhibition features works created in various techniques by People’s Artists Arif Huseynov and Sirus Mirzazade, Honored Artists Adil Shikhaliyev and Elshan Hajizadeh, as well as contemporary artists Vafa Panahova, Intigam Aghayev, Nigar Valiyeva, and others.

Artworks such as “Jidir Plain,” “Khari-bulbul,” “Return,” “Dawn of Victory,” and “Shusha, You Are Free” artistically express the spirit of the magnificent victory and the images of the heroes.

The exhibition will be open until November 9.
