On March 14, a master class on the “yurma” embroidery technique was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art as part of the exhibition “The Birth of Suzani: The Story of an Embroiderer.”

During the event, Madina Kasymbayeva, a renowned representative of Uzbek embroidery art, provided detailed information on the history of this ancient technique, its main technological features, the principles of ornament design, and execution methods.

The master class attracted great interest from participants; guests had the opportunity to closely explore the intricacies of traditional embroidery art and gain a deeper understanding of its rich heritage.
