On November 26, the “Vienna Ball for an Inclusive Society” was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, organized by the Austrian Embassy.

At the opening ceremony, speeches were delivered by Shirin Malikova, Director of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art; His Excellency Mr. Thomas Schuller-Goetzburg, Ambassador of Austria; and his wife, Ms. Khan Trang. They emphasized the importance of the project in promoting cultural diversity, dialogue, and the sharing of common values. It was noted that the idea of an inclusive society lies at the core of the initiative and that such events help strengthen unity, mutual respect, and intercultural connections.

The event marked the final stage of the “Building Bridges” series implemented by the Austrian Embassy in Azerbaijan. Since 2024, this series has been carried out as a culture-bridging initiative based on sincere interpersonal communication, led by Ambassador Thomas Schuller-Goetzburg and his wife, Ms. Khan Trang.

Inspired by personal stories from diverse cultural and geographical backgrounds, the initiative brought together people from Austria, Azerbaijan, and various other countries, creating a space for dialogue, sharing, and mutual understanding.

The final event—the Vienna Ball—combined the traditional Austrian ball culture with the concept of inclusivity. The aim was to bring together different social groups and jointly celebrate the values of beauty, culture, history, and inclusivity.
