On 14^th December, 2024 in Azerbaijan National Museum of Art was held the event devoted to the book presentation about the creativity of Honoured Artist, Professor Tahir Mammadov.

After welcoming the guests, the director of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Studies, Shirin Malikova told about the main artistic features of Tahir Mammadov's creativity and works.

Deputy of Parliament, Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Polad Bulbuloglu, People's Writer Chingiz Abdullayev, People's Artist, Professor Salhab Mammadov, Honoured Art Worker, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Studies Ziyadkhan Aliyev, Head of the Baku Art Center Rafael Gulmammadli, writer-publicist, director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Anargizi told about the uniqueness of Tahir Mammadov's creative activity in their speeches, emphasized that the presented book fully illuminated his creative path, they also wished the talented artist new successes in his future activities.

Then musical numbers remembered with interesting improvisations by the son of Tahir Mammadov, a famous pianist, composer Riad Mammadov were performed. It should be noted that in addition to an extensive analysis of the artist’s creative path, the book presented at the presentation ceremony includes reproductions of most of the works he created throughout his career.

Paintings of Tahir Mammadov decorate not only the museums of Azerbaijan, but also art depositories and impressive collections of foreign countries.

During the event the guests were acquainted with the exhibition of works by Tahir Mammadov.
