On December 3, within the “Music in the Museum” project, the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art presented the concert “Uzeyir Bey — 140”.

The concert featured the chamber choir “Belle Voci” and soloists — Rasul Jahangirli, Dilbar Rafibeyli, Farid Gulamov, Fidan Sultanova, Esmira Huseynova, Nargiz Shahbazova, Atilla Garib, and Ertogrul Balayev. They were accompanied on the naqqara by Yusif Rustemov.

The concert was conducted and artistically directed by Ertogrul Balayev, with concertmaster Elchin Mammadov and host musicologist, teacher, and publicist Raya Abbasova.

The program included selected works by Uzeyir Bey and other Azerbaijani composers. The concert was warmly received by numerous listeners and concluded with enthusiastic applause from the audience.
