On June 18, a concert program was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art as part of the “Music in the Museum” project, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Guljahan Gulahmadova-Martynova — People's Artist, professor at the Baku Music Academy, and one of the first professional female theatre directors in the country.
On June 18, a concert program was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art as part of the “Music in the Museum” project, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Guljahan Gulahmadova-Martynova — People's Artist, professor at the Baku Music Academy, and one of the first professional female theatre directors in the country.
The concert brought together her students — People's Artists Lyudmila Dukhovnaya and Mabud Maharramov — as well as colleagues and friends, who shared memories and spoke about her invaluable contributions to the arts.
The concert featured performances by People's Artist Avaz Abdullayev, Honored Artists Afaq Abbasova, Anton Ferstandt, Sabina Asadova, Farid Aliyev, Ilaha Sadygzadeh, Farida Mammadova, Ilham Nazarov, and international competition laureate Daniil Lirilov.
The musical program included unforgettable works by Azerbaijani and international composers. Aimed at highlighting the importance of the artist’s creative legacy for younger generations, the concert was met with interest and applause from the audience.
