Special Program Dedicated to Ali bey Huseynzade Held at the ANMA

On October 3 and 4, 2026, a special program dedicated to the life and work of Ali bey Huseynzade was held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art.

In the first part of the program, organized within the framework of the "Cinema at the Museum" project, the film "Secrets of a Hundred Years" was screened. The film made it possible to consider various aspects of Ali bey Huseynzade's life and activities in a broader context, and to gain additional information about his intellectual world and the social and cultural environment of his time.

After the screening, participants viewed the exhibition "Ali bey Huseynzade: A Great Thinker and Artist." During the tour, Ali bey Huseynzade's legacy was presented not only as a thinker, publicist, and representative of public thought, but also as an artist. The works, archival photographs, and other materials featured in the exhibition made it possible to see the various directions of his creative work together and to understand more closely the social and cultural landscape of that period.

Presenting the film screening and the exhibition tour in a single program enabled participants to approach the subject through different sources and presentation formats and to better understand Ali bey Huseynzade's role in Azerbaijani culture and public thought.

The special program marked the conclusion of the exhibition "Ali bey Huseynzade: A Great Thinker and Artist."
