The program called "Ancient Egyptian Art" was completed within the framework of the "Art History for Children" project held in the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art in January. Schoolchildren and preschool children who participated in the program gained extensive information about the history and rich culture of ancient Egypt. They learned interesting facts about various areas of Egyptian civilization in presentations and lectures, and in thematic excursions they got acquainted with small plastic samples of pharaohs, various gods, scarabs, sphinxes and other exhibits related to this art. After watching a shadow play on the theme, children also participated in fun master classes where they made copies of masterpieces of Egyptian art with their own hands.

It should be noted that the "Art history for children" program continues. During the month of February, the next programs related to ancient Greek art will be held.
