On February 27, 2026, students of secondary schools No. 189 and 190 participated in a program dedicated to Ancient Roman art within the framework of the “Art History for Children” project held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art.

Our young visitors explored the art of one of the most magnificent civilizations of the ancient world—Rome—embarking on a historical journey spanning from the pre-Christian era to the first centuries of the Common Era.

They received detailed information about Ancient Roman sculpture, examples of monumental painting, and architectural masterpieces such as the Colosseum and the Pantheon.

During the program, the students learned about Roman emperors, gladiatorial combats, and the world of ancient myths, and took part in a thematic экскурсия related to the topic.

In the master class, the children created symbolic elements inspired by Roman art with their own hands, demonstrating their creativity and applying what they had learned.

Organized in an educational, entertaining, and interactive format, the program created unforgettable impressions for the young participants.
